I know its late (I have a perfect excuse, but won't bore you'll with that information), but I wanted to say "Happy 22nd Birthday" to Christa McDonald (soon to be Blanchard)...Love you, Christa.

For all those watching us, and our relationship with personal interest. The only words of advise that we can offer is: "Christ and His Church.", "Good things happen to those who wait.", "All things work together for good.", and finally "Count it all joy."

Thanks to all those who encourage us daily in our walk with the Lord. Also, thanks for your prayers.

Daniel Blanchard

P.S. Love you, Christa.

This is the Hunt crew.
This is a overlook of the Expo Center site.

Well the steel is starting to go up on the Sheriff's Office. Everyone has to watch out for the BIG, HEAVY CRANE.
Yes, I'm still alive.
Some people think I wasn't serious about "drowning" in work, but I wasn't joking about that. I've been so busy with all the things that are going on around here. The projects are going quickly, and I'm trying to make sure I'm staying ahead of the curve.
Christa and I are still planning on getting married on November 24, 2006 , the starting time right now is 12:00 PM (is that suppose to be PM or AM, always confusing *wink*).
Oh, almost forgot, I was tagged by someone special (Christa) and was inclinded to do the requiried task. So here it goes:

Five things in my freezer: (hummm...)
1. Rib Eye Steaks.
2. Boston Butt Steaks
3. Frozen Cup
4. Bread
5. Ice Cream (I think I still have that...)

Five thing in my car:
1. CDs
2. Picture of Christa and I on my dash
3. Post-It Note pad
4. Car Charger/Converter
5. My Badge

Five things in my closet:
1. Bowling ball
2. Playpen (thinking about future needs)
3. Shirts
4. Lots of boots
5. More CDs

Five things in my purse: (I DON'T HAVE ONE!!)

Five things in my wallet:
1. Picture of Chista and I
2. Debt Cards
3. Receipts
4. Insurance Cards
5. Drivers License

Three people that I will inflict this torture to...
1. Alex Blanchard
2. Christa McDonald (just for making me do this, we need new questions...)
2. James McDonald (the younger...)
3. My Mom (Crystal Blanchard)

Hope you'll had fun reading this...Love you, Christa.

Morning all. Glad to be able to report, all is well in College Station. Actually the weather is a little "colder" (like lower 90's to middle 80's). Well suppose you'll are wondering what is happening since I'm "drowning myself in work", here we go. Two weeks ago (9/2/06) we poured the first portion of the building slab at 4:00 in the morning (wow that was a long day). Then the next week I was working on submittals and RFI (request for information), also tackling any problems that get presented to my attention during this time and find a resolution to the problem. Then last weekend, went home (visited my folks in Grand Saline, four hours north of College Station). Monday and Tuesday this week I had training on the computer program that we use in the field (ProLog). The training was interesting, wish I had this type of training at the beginning of working these projects. Back at the office on Wednesday, had a meeting with the County, tackled some more RFI and submittals (I'll be glad when the submittal process will be finished ;). Of course today (being Saturday) I'm working and trying to keep every one up to date with what is going on in my life.
Everything is going well with Christa and I. The wedding date is looking like Friday, November 24th, 2006. Thanks to all those who are keeping us in their prayers.

Just a quick update during my lunch hour. Just FYI Christa McDonald and I are planning on getting married the day after Thanksgiving, being 11/24/06. I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers, and hope that you'll will "stay steadfast in season and out of season".

Also, the McDonalds have moved up to IL so be in prayer, with me, for them and their relocating in the "land of Lincoln".

I have to run. Have a meeting at 1:30 PM with the County and I have to wrap a few things up before then.

Love you, Christa.

Well its official.
Christa McDonald is engaged to Daniel Blanchard. Please be in prayer for us in the upcoming months.

Also, in other news the McDonald clan is moving to Ill. (unbelievable, how the Lord works), be in prayer about that as well. I'm going to drown myself in my work so I don't have time to worry about the wedding (Christa is going to do a great job with the planning), don't worry I don't usually drown myself in work unless I have to (and yes the projects are demanding enough to "drown myself").

I want to express you thanks to Mr. and Mrs. McDonald for their longsuffering and prayers while Christa and I were in the courtship stage. I would greatly appreciate the continued prayers.

Anyway, that's what has been happening around here lately.

(Love you, Christa)

POST 08032006 2231 hrs.

Yes, its late. But I'd thought I'll go ahead a put something on my blog about the past week. Well today is Thursday (as if anyone is keeping up with the days, starting to seem like a blur). This week started out just fine. By the way folks you can live off of $21.11 for a week (food wise). I've finally come up with a way to pay off credit cards (not a good idea to get started on that topic) but the bad thing is I have a grand total of $67.00 to spend duing the week. This week I started on Saturday using $40.00 on gas (which left $27.00 in the allowance for food), then I spent $21.11 on food for the week, which means in reality I have $5.89 left over from the allowance (which inaffect is going into savings). So, anyway that is what I'm working on a personal level.

Planning on seeing the McDonalds this weekend.

Post 07262006 1323 hrs.

This is to info all those who worry about the owner of this blog. All is well (or so I hope, always looking forward the next drama event).

Well my weekend was spent (you guessed it) Katy, TX. Had a great time, although I went there with every intention to work a garage sale, but that didn't work out and I spent my time basically doing (nothing). Had a great time with Christa and the rest of the McDonald clan.

Anyway, so this week. Hummm... Nothing really interesting happening. Nothing that I'm really willing to write about (nothing against anyone reading, but for the simple fact that I have to watch what I write for fear of letting myself get ahead of the curve ball).

That's all folks. Have to get back to work (BTW: taking a late lunch)
